What we collect
- Calculator inputs: nothing. All calculations run in your browser (JavaScript). Your salary, dates, and numbers never leave your device and are never sent to our servers.
- Contact messages: if you email us at contact@gulffigure.com, we receive your email address and message, used only to reply. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Analytics and measurement: we use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregated usage — pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device type, and how visitors interact with the site. Google may set cookies (_ga, _ga_*) for this purpose. IP addresses are processed by Google; we do not build personal profiles or attempt to identify individual visitors.
- Behaviour analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through aggregated heatmaps and anonymised session replays (mouse movement, clicks, scrolls). Clarity masks text inputs and sensitive content by default and does not record keystrokes. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for details.
Your rights (UAE PDPL)
Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@gulffigure.com — we respond within a reasonable time. Note that most analytics data we rely on is aggregated and cannot be linked back to you.
Opting out
Data retention
Analytics data is retained by our providers under their standard retention settings (Google Analytics: 14 months). Contact emails are deleted once your request is resolved, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings. See Google's advertising policies for details.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies ourselves. Third parties set cookies through the tags on this site:
- Google Analytics / Tag Manager (_ga, _ga_*, _gcl_*): measure aggregated site usage.
- Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR): behaviour analytics and session replays.
- Google advertising (including DoubleClick): serve and measure ads, as described above.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators keep working, but some analytics-dependent features may degrade.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, except as required by law.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new revision date.
